My salesman Elijah was helpful and patient. I bought a used car for my daughter. The battery died within the first 24 hours and he came over to diagnose the problem, promptly towed the car back to the service department, and offered a loaner car. Elijah made a stressful situation much easier to deal with by providing service after the sale. Overall, happy with the transaction and will be back to test drive a new Trailblazer soon.

The service personnel were as always very friendly. I couldn’t believe how fast my airbag recall was fixed. But tonight my message board reads” Service Air Bag”. That has never come on before so I don’t know if something wasn’t done or set right or if there is a recall on another airbag.

They forgot to tighten the drain plug. The truck ran out of oil in the center turn lane of a very congested 5 lane intersection. I was 4 blocks from home. So for the 3 or 4 minutes it took me to clear the intersection the truck had no oil in it. I can only hope the engine was not damaged.

I asked how long the repair would take, I was told a day and a half. I purposely scheduled the service during a time that I would not need my truck. I had a flight booked for 5 days after I was supposed to get my vehicle back. When it was finished, I had to ask Chad to have someone bring me my truck, because I was already where I was to catch that flight. That was disconcerting and worrisome. Also, they had forgotten to put my wheel lock key back into my vehicle. Easily fixed, but after I called (and left a message)on Monday to let them know, I did not hear that they had it until I called back Wednesday. I also don’t agree that my repair wasn’t or shouldn’t have been covered under my BtoB warranty and will be talking to GM about being reimbursed.

I was told to wait for 30 days until warranty kicks in to have a/c fixed so it would be covered. We waited only to be told it wasn’t covered and had to pay to have it fixed. My daughter Picked up her vehicle and started driving home only to hear a loud thumping noise. She Had to turn around and take it back. The machanic forgot to put the screws back in a bottom panel piece and it was hitting the ground when she drove.

I was a little disappointed in my trip. I was about 2 miles from home and my informational warning with off about my tires. I pulled into a business and then I called my sales person and told him what was going on. He told me it wasn’t anything to be concerned about and that I could bring it back out anytime and the service guys just needed to reprogram it. The thing is I don’t just live around the corner, I live 18 miles away, one way. That’s annoying that you have to take an extra trip in your day to get something taken care of. I drove out there the next morning and the guy took care of the problem in probably 5 minutes which is even more annoying in my eyes. I drove out there for a 5 min fix. My wasted time and wasted gas for a five min fix because somebody didn’t finish their job. Unhappy service

I'm pleased with Simms Chevrolet for constant pursuit of a solution to the absolute failure of General Motors engineering group. When the Equinox was redesigned for 2025, a dealer-installed towing package was one of the options yet GM Engineering FAILED to engineer a rear bumper that provided access to the hitch. Big FAIL for GM and HUGE ACCOLADES to Simms Chevrolet for continuing to pressure GM for an engineered solution.

I came in to have 1 part changed on my truck. Less than 1 hour labor. I brought in my own part, I was quoted 155$ for 1 hour, I was then charged extra for “parts” what other parts did you use? I brought the only part that was changed m, therefore all the parts were supplied by ME. Not happy at this petty game of nickel and diming the customer.

My experience this time around was excellent. The computer will not let me click on the excellent star. I want to thank Simms Chevrolet for not charging me for the recent repairs. As you know: 1. Last month my car was serviced by you all at a cost of 2,8OO dollars. 2. This past summer, my daughter Randi Richardson has her car serviced by you alls collision center. Our insurance paid over 7,OOO dollars for the repairs. 3. Within the last 12 months, my wife Rene has her Envision serviced by you all on two different occasions. I recall one of the repairs coating is us 2,OOO dollars. 4. My father in-law, Larry Williams, of Clio, MI, regularly has his autos serviced by Simms. 5. My daughter Rani drives a Malibu. It will need brake work fixed by the end of this year. The plan is to utilize Simms. As you can see, we have a history with Simms. Because of the decision to not charge me for the last repairs, we will strongly consider purchasing our next new auto from Simms. At least one of our autos will need to be replaced in 2O26. I appreciated the communication and getting our vehicle done on time as we were leaving for vacation the week it needed work done. We got our vehicle back on Thursday and was a little upset by all the oil all over the doors, handles, and front bumper. We have had work done in the past by simms and have never had a vehicle returned to us dirty. We ended up taking it to the car wash shortly after picking it up to get all the oil off the exterior of the vehicle.

You have signs at checkout and in the waiting room that if you want to use your membership points towards your bill to let your service advisor know, I think it would be helpful to have them out in the service advisor area because it’s a little late after the fact
